Reserva Biologica Bosque Nuboso Monteverde (Monteverde Cloud Forest Preserve), Monteverde, Costa Rica.
Hiking through the Costa Rican rainforest, we saw some amazing flora and fauna, swung from a Tarzan rope and took a zip line canopy tour, ate some outstanding food, and discovered some terrifying creatures, such as millipedes the size of your hand and a nest full of angry scorpions in our hotel room. Now that's not something you see every day!
