Quick Update

Quick update about Gogo:

Happy to report that today Gogo is 99.9% sound!! Totally amazed and delighted to see it, way better than she was even on Tuesday. We've been aggressively icing and keeping her indoors (just treadmilling) in case there was some acute inflammation going on anywhere, but that leg is nice and cool today, I am happy to say. Maybe she did just sting herself, hard to say. No sign of anything higher up (thank god!!) and no sign of anything else out of the ordinary. I was starting to feel like all was lost but maybe not! Maybe, just maybe, everything will work out for the season. You never know! Chin up and keep going!

Send your super-ultra mega healing thoughts out way!

Gogo likes to give her mother frequent heart attacks, that's all! XD Good news and I hope she continues to improve! :)

Good to hear she is working out of it just fine. . .and about the question regarding stifles & turn-out I made on your previous post, I was just curious--her symptoms sounded oddly familiar. And seeing that she can be quite the ball of fire, and obviously has a very active mind, I wondered if 24 hr turn-out was something you had considered that would help in keeping her occupied--hopefully no offense was taken, you are obviously taking the very best care of her and she is an incredibly lucky girl to have such a thorough owner.

Oh if only I could turn her out for 24/7!! Alas... she might kill herself, lol.

Long time reader but first time poster here. I had to write because I know just how horrible it is to feel so uncertain about a horse's future. I think your taking awesome care of her though and I'm keeping my fingers crossed :)
