Plugged!

Yay! Another plug for the Eventing-A-Gogo blog, this time from the Eventing Radio Show. My only minor correction to the shout-out (besides not actually being in NZ for a year, only six months, lol) would be that her feet were not so horrible that she CAN'T wear shoes, but that her feet are so AMAZING that I WON'T put shoes on her by choice! :D

Thank you SO MUCH to Glenn the Geek and Chris Stafford for their kind words and their encouragement. We all love your show, you guys are the best!!!

I really can't believe how this blog has taken off. It's only about eight months old, and I can't believe the following it has. From being plugged on the COTH forms to the Eventing Radio Show to being asked to write for the offical USEA blog, my little mare seems to be getting a widespread following. I have 65 official followers on Blogger, but I have a TON of other people who don't officially follow and just read, as evidence by the ton of e-mails I get, all filled with encouragement. It really is amazing, and I feel like I'm a part of something much bigger than myself. A lot of people write about how I've given them hope for their crazies or for their less-than-ideal situations or for their barefoot horses, and that thrills me. Making people happy is better than anything else in the world.

Except maybe a good ride on Gogo. Or Mountain Dew. Or hot chicks in bikinis. Wait, did I say that last one out loud?

Happy Almost 4th of July, everyone!

Yay fourth of July!

You're doing absolutely amazing with your mare--You! You're training her, no one else... so everything you two accomplish is just because of you and her. How fricken awesome is that?

I think I speak for everyone when I say I'm so proud of you! I especially love your posts of her bare feet, because I attempt to show mine with bare as well (and not nearly on the same kind of terrain!!). I would love to learn how to do it myself, but I'm saving that because I am completely paranoid about their feet.

We love the blog! We love the kooky mare! And we all love you!!

:D! Keep it up!

I agree! I love reading about your training goals, plans, and success! You are doing a great job and I too am proud of you! :D Sounds weird coming from someone who has never actually met you, but it is true!
