Karma Fail!

I guess this is what I get for being a whining baby this morning!:

One big messy bleeding broken fail. Though they did happen separately.

Thank you for the sweet comments. You can tell I'm obviously feeling the severe stress that comes with the whole moving process. It's not easy living in and out of suitcases while I get ready for the trek down south. And thanks to guy with the precious comment that I need a therapist instead of a new horse/vet/job. I wish I could think of something adorably sarcastic in response, but I don't have the time. I certainly hope everybody realizes I have the sense to wait until I actually have a PLAN formed for acquiring a new horse. I don't even have a BUDGET yet. I'm just airing out my brains and writing because I will go absolutely stir crazy from waiting for this move to happen otherwise!

Concerning the pictures, Gogo is fine, and the trailer is fixed to the tune of a hundred smacks. Ouch... for ONE plastic hinge? I can only assume Gogo got cast, as Jen said her stall was a right mess this morning. Aside from having major (but superficial) lacerations and an elephant leg, she's in good spirits and sound. Or well, sound on THAT leg. Mares.....

I have MAJOR packing to do tomorrow, and way more things to do than I can possibly squash into one day, but we are set for a Wednesday departure. More details to follow!

It might make you feel better to know that I have no money or job. However, these are technicalities and will be overcome. No car or horse float (trailer?) either. Just more technicalities. Eventing here I come!!!!! I fully anticipate winning our one star challenge, but know that you will be a worthy opponent and run the race to the wire. (Don't forget that this is a challenge using uneducated horses only.)

Karma fail? BS. It's just life. You have to deal with the cards you get.

I can't wait to hear more about the Texas adventure. This is seriously my equivalent to study junk food...it relaxes my brain so much to read about someone who cares SOMUCH about her girl.

I have Lyme, and am going to specialize in it once I am done with all of this hysterical fun of school. Considering the tendon damage, I am finding myself wondering about it a lot...considering she had it. I know there is not a lot of research out there about animals and Lyme, but some of the stuff that is on the verge with people is really strange and pretty interesting. I will have to send you an email about it once this exam evil is over.

Glad to hear you're feeling better :) Sometimes you get so much crazy feedback that your brain just about explodes.

Glad you're feeling a bit more collected now, it sounded like you had a pretty good freak-out. That's never fun - my sympathies.

The guy who said you needed a therapist and not a horse doesn't get it... horses ARE therapy, thank you very much!

Her cut is in the shape of a "y". As in "WHY?"

At least it's not serious though, and all's well that ends well.

Things will work out for you. Ignore asshats who say things like the therapist commenter. That was rude beyond belief. Everyone has a breakdown from time to time when bad things just pile up and it seems like everything that can go wrong has gone wrong. It's normal. And it's normal to have feelings of self-blame and want to give up.

There's a point at which one needs a therapist, but nothing I have seen from you says that anything is out of the ordinary. Hurt and stress are part of life. But it WILL get better.

Glad to hear your feeling better! Hope the rest of your day\week goes better! I was appalled to see what the people had commented on your breed or buy post. I agree that it's your mare and you will do what is best for her. You always have. Hang in there and keep you chin up! No storm lasts forever :)
