Denali's Gift

SO! I am currently in Texas for my interview and heartily enjoying myself, even though my life has been one non-stop migraine-inducing perpetual motion machine for the past week. I will be back in Connectict Saturday night, and then on Sunday I will be able to settle down and really get to work organizing Denali's project - even though she is amazing and hanging on!!!! Go Denali!!!!!

Stay tuned, I am not dead, just close to it!!

EDITED to add: If you did NOT e-mail me the first time around (or even if you did) with a note for Denali's Mom, PLEASE e-mail me again so that I can keep track of everyone! I have loads of donations that I don't have a contact for, and I want to keep everyone in the loop with what we're doing!

Have fun in Texas.... I spent a weekend near Austin last spring for business, and actually quite enjoyed it! The wildflowers were amazing!! I guess they bloom in different colors depending on the season and year. The coolest thing was all the Brahma Bulls I saw everywhere... I think they're beautiful! And they are rare in the Northwest... perhaps they don't enjoy the rain! Even the neighbors of the place I was staying at had them. I guess they cross-breed Brahmas to get cattle with the same mass and easy temperament, but without the big hump on their necks. On the way there from Seattle I sat next to a cattle farmer who told me all about it!! Good luck with your interview...
