Thursday, Gogo and I celebrated our five-year anniversary together, and I can hardly believe how much time has gone by. FIVE years has passed since I plunked down a check for my little monster... FIVE! It has been one hell of a journey, full of ups and down and everything inbetween. Despite it all, I wouldn't change a thing. I wouldn't be where I am today without her.
I have some hilarious picture tributes that I put up for her last year...
Gogo's Famous Picture Pose
Gogo Strikes a Pose!
Uhm.... 'Special' Moments.... and of course, I must add another year's worth of Picture Poses, Striking a Pose, and 'Special' Moments:
Happy Anniversary my little Mami! Here's to another five - or ten, or fifteen, or twenty! - years of laughter, tears, ups, downs, happiness, and GOGO!
Happy Anniversary!
ReplyDeleteSo happy for you and Gogo!
ReplyDeleteHappy Happy!
ReplyDeleteAwww, congrats! That mare is QUITE the poser! It has been a bit over five years for Solo and I too -- like you said, INSANE to think back on the ups and downs and crazed adventures.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary! Here's to years of ups!
ReplyDeleteWOW! I didnt know it was that long! And she sure take some funny pics, how do you catch them all?
ReplyDeleteHappy Gogoversary! She looks so "special" in the tongue sticking out crossties pic. God bless her.
ReplyDeleteLove the faces, Gogo is quite a ham (hammette?) for the camera! Happy Anniversary, and may there be many more!
ReplyDeleteHey, Andrea, I didn't know if you read this blog or not, but I thought of you the other day when I was checking it, though you might enjoy. I find it completely fascinating, this guy is in the UK and rehabs horses on his farm. Check out his system of tracks that he wrote up recently.

Also came across this study recently on Horsetalk, really interesting study.

Ok, done feeding your foot fetish for now, ROFL!
Ah yes, JenJ and I are Nic's biggest fans.... we love her and we eat her blog up!
ReplyDeleteAnd that is a super interesting study.... there is all sorts of interesting research coming out of Australia right now with Brumbys. I think it is completely impossible to say that Brumbys and the American Mustang are remotely similar... and I think it's ridiculous to say that either a Brumby foot, a Mustang foot, or any particular 'type' of foot can or should be duplicated on every other foot around the world. Brumbys with their Thoroughbred influence and access to rich grasses (and then rock hard dry deserts) are well known for their chronic laminitic issues. As far as I know, Brumbies are NOT endemic to Australia - it's not their native habitat and they don't do that well in it. I think it's safe to say that nobody in their right mind would model a healthy living environment and trim off of them. I think it's also equally ridiculous to force any sort of model on any horse, American Mustang model or otherwise. There must be sensibility and moderation somewhere.
Dang, I KNEW you would know about Rockley. But I was hoping I had uncovered some great secret and could surprise you with it!
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary! She is such a gorgeous girl and I'm glad you both found each other. :)
